Brian Herbert

Brian Herbert is the band’s bass player and vocalist. He has been with the group since its inception in 2023. His musical foundations started early in childhood with piano lessons and grew through playing saxophone and bass drum in high school and community marching bands. Since his early teens, he continued to develop as a bass player in local bands throughout his high school and college experience. While his instrument of choice is bass guitar, he also has experience on rhythm guitar, piano, percussion, drums, and vocals. Brian brings a deliberate yet laid-back style that adapts and blends naturally across multiple genres. He draws his inspiration from Motown, Funk, R&B, Jazz, and Southern and Progressive rock. He most values the ease, professionalism, and style the other musicians in Good Vibez bring to the table. One of his favorite memories is playing the band’s first show and realizing the chemistry was going to be something special. One of his favorite quotes is, “Where words fail, music speaks.”
